Last weekend was studio move day. Bags of textiles, paint, rotary cutters, tools, and art, art, art! Luckily I only had to drag, roll, push and carry my studio contents across the hall from the old space in the Hynds building to the new one. I am still working on getting my space just right for optimal art making but things are coming along well.
Terry and I are also busy hanging our opening show highlighting the human figure. The show will open on April 12th from 5-8pm for the Cheyenne Artwalk. Our guest artist is my talented and supportive husband, Dave Rowswell. Dave has been interested in the figure since art school days and has run figure drawing classes in the past at our house and in the Hynds building. Be sure to stop in on the 12th to see our new space and the show. There will be an artist's reception (yes that means another cake experiment from me) and the event is free and open to the public.
